Steve Montgomery
BJJ Black Belt - UFC Veteran
Steve Montgomery is the head of the American Top Team Striking Program where he instructs and oversees our boxing, kickboxing, and MMA classes. As an amateur, Steve had a perfect 6-0 MMA record before going pro with a winning 10-6 record against world class opponents. Steve is a Bellator Veteran, an Ultimate Fighter 25 contestant, and a two-time UFC veteran. After going pro, Steve has trained for over 15 years, 11 of which he spent training and coaching at Top Team Headquarters in Coconut Creek. Steve is also a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Black Belt under Bob DeLuca, earning belts along the way from the likes of Rafael Rebello and Ricardo Liborio. Complementing his accomplishments as an athlete, Steve is a brilliant coach having cornered and coached fighters in UFC, Bellator, The Ultimate Fighter, The Contender Series, One FC, Titan FC, and hundreds of other pro and amateur shows.
